The studio is a professionally acoustically treated, Mac and PC based studio with high quality KRK monitoring all controlled with the Euphonix Artist Series ethernet controllers, MC Mix and the MC Control. The suite is run using the audio editing programme Pro Tools 8 with DV Toolkit 2, Native Instruments, Waves and Sonnox sound design software.

Owner Profile
The owner of Elektek, Dean Thomas, is a fully qualified, to BSc Honors level, Sound Engineer and Sound Designer. He studied audio technology and song writing at Point Blank London and sound engineering and design at The School Of Sound Recording, Manchester/University of Bolton. Since completing his degree, Dean has gone on to start up his own company called Elektek Productions.

Since starting up the company, Dean has completed various post production projects including, sound design, composition and dubbing mixing for TV and film and producing, mixing and mastering various music projects. He has now secured his first feature length film with Oscar Award winning composer Stephen Warbeck.
